Calgary – One of Calgary’s youngest entrepreneurs in the technology sector has been selected as a finalist for the 2009 GoForth Institute Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Derek Major, founder and CEO of Eligeo IT, was nominated due the organization’s successes and innovations in providing world class technology service and support for the small to medium sized businesses. , A growing firm with triple-digit revenue growth for 2009, Eligeo IT is fast becoming a leader in Calgary’s technology sector. With referrals and word-of-mouth accounting for 85% of Eligeo’s new business Eligeo IT is quickly earning the reputation for delivery and customer focus in the highly populated technology sector.

The international representation was excellent as well. We were fortunate enough to meet with delegates from Italy, Japan, USA, Spain, South America, England and even India. This summit was a fabulous opportunity to share ideas with each other as we were able to see things from a different perspective.
